Doctor's visit went fine yesterday - clean bill of health with a few vaccinations thrown in (that tetnus is going to hurt for a few days!). He's officially 4'9" and 79lbs.
Unfortunately the paperwork didn't arrive from Ibague that we need to apply for the Visa. If it had we would have been flying this weekend. Now we wait until Monday to apply for the Visa. We will likely receive the Visa Tuesday and fly on Wednesday. (God willing and the creek don't rise). Checking into flights now - it's not pretty.
There is another family staying here from Minnesota. Chris is the Dad's name and the son is Jhon - 8 yrs old. His wife and other 3 children left 5 weeks ago - he's been here a total of 7 weeks. Makes our 2 1/2 weeks (so far) not so bad!
